Eyrun and Lyl (the true Lyl)

I have a soft spot for tragic couples...


long story, but in brief, after Senthar's death Lyl is sent back to her village so that her daughter could be safer, and she comes back to Eyrun's arms.
This is one of the last times Eyrun sees her before her death.

Done with mechanical HB pencils and coloured pencils.

Eyrun and Lyl belong to me

beautiful colours and the hair is wonderful! :D there is such a mix of emotions in their faces, it is very interesting!

why would eyrun think Hannah is Lyl >.< theyr mother and daughter and Hannah has markings on her face, Lyl doesnt

why? because Hannah and Lyl are very very similar despite Hannah's markings, and he knows perfectly that she's not Lyl, but he's mad and you cannot ask a madnman why he does the things he does. He's just suffering and mad.
Infact he wants to find a way to remove those tatooes from her face ^^

Wow....come immaginavo anche con i colori sei un drago. :D Se posso permettermi un piccolo suggerimento sulla volumetria dei volti....caricherei appena le ombre su zigomi e mandibole... (giusto per farli "staccare" ). mandami pure al diavolo se vuoi..., ok? ;)

Scherzi? le critiche e i consigli sono sempre apprezzati! che cosa intendi per caricare le ombre sugli zigomi? mettere il colore in quelle parti prima di ripassarlo su tutto il viso?

parto dal presupposto che non ho la minima idea di quale sia il tuo modo spontaneo di gestire la tecnica... (quello e' fondamentale)... Poi...per "staccare" il viso io di solito parto dall'esterno (mandibola, zigomi, tempie)aggiungendo strati leggeri di colore, tono su tono (non uso nero), arretrando man mano. esempio: disegna un quadrato e ombreggia un angolo arretrando con gli strati man mano che raggiungi lo spigolo (spigolo = + scuro). A parole non so se sono chiara, mannaggia... ^^' Con la matita classica e', almeno per me, piu' semplice rendere i volumi, coi colori e' un po' diversa la faccenda, argh.
