A brief dialogue about what is happening...

Lenore: after more than 40 years of silence, Unda, I got your letters, I found your son, and now Dankaar is full of those black Gems..as you call them. You wrote me I didn't have to expect you here, but you came.

Unda: Those aren't just black Gems, those are my men, you don't have to fear them. But they don't have to know I'm here. They don't know I came.

Lenore: but you did. I heard you were dead.

Unda: many think I am dead and I want this to go on. You're my friends, my people needs a refuge, and you gave it to them. But a war will start soon and I need your support.

Lenore: too many things are obscure, and my people are afraid.

Unda: they don't have to. Not afraid of us. They have to fear the others, the ones who call themselves Black Gems but they aren't anymore.

Lenore: you need to explain. I thought you were dead.

Unda: please, don't tell my son I'm here.

Lenore: but you came. You came to see him.

Unda: I did. Don't ask more.

Lenore: you need my protection but you're demanding too much. What's happened to your eye.

Unda: I will tell you everything Lenore. I will tell you when it'll be the time. Please, I want to see him.

Lenore: how can I show him to you when you don't want to be shown?

The answer to Lenore's question is simple. Show Unda Kael while Kael is asleep and hope he doesn't wake up. ...Just my thinking.

Okay, I will not say who has seen him smile many times, but this expression now looks so serious that impresses me (in a positive way).
The pain he has experienced has turned colder, perhaps? He seems more... don't know... mature, so to speak. Less prone to tantrums due to psychological instability. Or maybe I'm wrong. XD
Anyway I love it/him! (He and his drawing). Impressive shading, as always! And absolutely attractive features.

They're talking about a war... I'm eager to know what is coming. Seems very interesting... And stressful for poor Lenore.
